This painting is of the appartment blocks on Mount Merrion Avenue, with a 5G mast in front. I’ve noticed the phrase, “Open Your Eyes” stenciled on or around 5G masts in Belfast over the past few years, coinciding with a spate of arson attacks on the 5G masts. A symbol of an age where distrust, disinformation and false narratives are often what is drawing focus.
